Custom Install Solution

It still blows my mind that back in 2017, I had this crazy idea to create a wall mount solutionId hope would change the game. Weve certainly done that with the Kranzle K1322TS Custom Install Solution, and now we have an economic high-performing King in town, the Active 2.0 pressure washer. This freakingthing is next level and perfect if you want to experience quality at a lower cost.

I’ve been thinking about doing this for as long as I can remember. I’ve wanted a dedicated wash bay for over 20 years. I thought it would be the most fantastic thing in the world to be able to wash cars whenever I wanted and not have to drag out a hose every time to get the job done. That same year (2017), I started searching everywhere to find a solution that would not only be suitable but amazing.

Here we are today, with what Id consider the next best thing in the car detailing, pressure washing world. This pressure washer can do over 2.0 GPM (gallons per minute). Thats just insane. Im not replacing this for my Kranzle, but Im not opposed to using this as a backup if something happens to my Kranzle. Id also say for those of you who are looking to buy a Kranzle and due to supply chain issues cant get one right away from us, Id suggest picking up one of these in the interim.

Not Built To A Price Point

This pressure washer wasnt built to a price point but instead for permanence. If left up to me, Im making a machine thatll cost 3,000+ dollars, but I understand a pressure washer in that price range wont appeal to the masses. Although I have zero interest in appealing to the masses, I believe in the progression philosophy where someone comes in the door at entry-level and works their way up to an ultimate level. This unit is exactly that; a worthy choice of a pressure washer but not one youre going to have forever.

Youll wind up keeping this unit for a few years or less, but then youll want to upgrade to an AR630 or a Kranzle at some point. The beauty of having an install solution is that you can transfer the parts and fittings to your new pressure washer. Simply take this one down and put your new one up.

Performance, Oh Man!

When they built this machine, they didnt make it with performance as the top priority; it was longevity. Im repeating myself when I talk about longevity, but I want you to understand the vision and motivation behind this thing. The performance is/was a byproduct of the overall goal.

If theres anything youll see me smile about when it comes to this unit, its the performance. We were able to get 2.0+ GPM with a 5.0 orifice nozzle. Id say this is the sweet spot because that also put us around 700 PSI, which isplenty for car washing.

During our testing, we found that we dont want to run this machine with a 1.1 orifice on the foam cannon; youll surely trip your circuit. I used a 1.5 orifice instead with my normal 150 mL of car soap and 600 mL of water dilution in the foam cannon, and we had great foam, but more importantly, were running the machine safer. If you have a dedicated 15 or 20-amp circuit, youd want to run a 1.25.

Installation Tips

Custom is the keyword. It really depends on your needs, the utilities that youre working with, and how youre going to have your end solution setup. You really want to get with a plumber if you need to because everything is going to be completely custom for your specific setup in regards to cut lengths and where everything is going to go. This package gets you about 90% of the way there, but that other 10% takes a bit of work to figure out. To give you a head start here are some dimensions for what we have on our wall here:

  • Our water outlet is 22.5″ off the ground and 13.5 to the left of the center line. I would recommend this as the absolute minimum distance from the center line.
  • The CR Spotless is mounted with the top of the bracket at 43.
  • The top of the hose reel mounting bracket is at 61.
  • The top of the back of the metal shelf is 68.5.
  • The power outlet should be about the same height as the shelf but to the right. Ours is lower than that because we didnt move it. It’s not ideal.
  • The total width is roughly 30.
